Joseph Litzinger

Executive Producer

Joe Litzinger is a Primetime Emmy-nominated TV producer and an award-winning documentary filmmaker. He currently serves as the Executive Producer on four shows for National Geographic and BBC Studios, including the seven-time Emmy-winning series Life Below Zero. In addition to producing over a thousand hours of nonfiction television programming, he co-directed and EP’ed two multiple award-winning feature length documentary films under his production company banner Interesting Human Media. Joe has been a speaker on many industry panels moderated by the International Documentary Association, Deadline, Reel Screen, Variety, KCRW, serves as a documentary mentor at South By Southwest and is on the Governors Advisory Board for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Joe lives in Agoura Hills, California where he nurtures his other passions - his family and the outdoors.

Ally Siegel

Associate Story Producer

Producer - Ally Siegel, born and raised in Los Angeles, graduated from The University of Arizona with a degree in journalism. By chance, Ally accepted a job in the casting department at BBC Studios in June 2011 and hasn’t left since. There, she fell in love with the world of casting docu-series. Being able to meet people from all over the world with traditions and beliefs unlike her own and to document their stories brings Ally great satisfaction. While at BBC Studios, Ally has worked as a Associate Story Producer, Production Coordinator, Segment Producer, Casting Producer and most recently Producer. In her free time, you’ll find Ally chatting with just about any stranger she meets. Their untold stories continue to fascinate her. Ally currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two-year-old daughter.

Eric Schrader

Shooter / Editor / Director

Shooter / Editor / Director Eric Michael Schrader is a former Professor at the Southern Connecticut State University, teaching Video Technology to Journalism Majors. Chasing a career in entertainment, Schrader moved to Los Angeles in December 2012. Schrader currently works for BBC Worldwide as an editor for National Geographic Channel's Life Below Zero. Recently, Schrader won an Emmy for Outstanding Picture Editing for an Unstructured Reality Program. Schrader is also a Freelance Director / Producer for music videos. He has directed Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, Disney’s Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day and American Idol winner Nick Fradiani. Eric is the Co-Director and Editor of Interesting Human’s prior documentaries – Will Work For Views and Zulu Summer. Currently, Eric resides in Silverlake, and edits on Life Below Zero and its spinoff show, Life Below Zero: Next Generation.

Adam Brewer

Producer

Producer Adam is a producer with BBC Studios on the Emmy-winning NatGeo series Life Below Zero. Originally from Houston, TX, he graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Film & Media Studies, and has worked in film and television for over ten years. As part of the Interesting Human team, he produced Will Work for Views and Zulu Summer, and is passionate about using documentary as a tool for compelling storytelling that will both entertain and enlighten. He is a member of the Producers Guild, and lives in Los Angeles with his amazing partner of nine years.

Mia Grimes

Director / Shooter

Mia Grimes, born and raised in Texas, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Radio, Television, and Film. During school, Mia focussed on telling non-scripted stories through the various companies and projects she worked on such as Backroads Entertainment, The Kendra Scott Institute, Split Shirt, and more. After graduating from UT Austin, Mia moved to Los Angeles to work for BBC Studios as an assistant on Life Below Zero, Life Below Zero: Next Generation, and First Alaskans.

Chris Multop

Cinematographer

Chris started his career in TV at KHOU Channel 11 in Houston, TX. After a decade creating special programs and client commercials he ventured out into the freelance world. His greatest achievement in television is working on the Emmy Award winning show LIFE BELOW ZERO on the National Geographic Channel where he was nominated in two different Primetime Emmy categories for cinematography and producing. Chris works as a Director of Photographer for the Canoe Documentary.
